![]() On 24th of August Sally was onboard a sailing club safety boat off Pentewan when her camera was lost overboard after the clasp of the dry bag containing the camera snapped. Two weeks later off the coast of Talland I was climbing out on the cliffs. By chance there was a low tide that day which meant I could get much further out the cliffs than normal. Approximately half way between Talland Bay and Looe I took a break and discovered the camera, washed up on the high tide line. I was stunned and found that the camera still had a charge in it so I had a quick flick through the pictures and noticed that there were many shots of the Red Arrows display which had been held in Fowey in the past week, there were also many family photos. During the next couple of days my parents and I examined the photos and managed to pin point the house where they were taken from. The house was located the following weekend and my parents returned the camera. Aquapac were then informed of the story and asked if we could meet up to take some photos to send off the them, we had a great day in Fowey and saw Lenny Henry lol. Hope to meet up with them again soon! The Aquapac site should have the article soon, click here to go to the website Click here for the pictures |
